Episode 37: The Future of Media

The entertainment industry has spent the last ten years digging in their heels and sending lawyer after lawyer to stop pirates they've spent little time, effort and money thinking of new ways to sell their goods in digital format. In essence, the entertainment industry has done a shocking job of providing an alternative to the offerings of the pirates.
We're joined by Jason Probert of DSTV New Media to explain the video on demand services that DSTV offers as well as explain the launch of the new "African Film Club". We're also joined by Dagmar Heijmans of website "Sellaband", a Dutch based website that helps bands raise money to record their albums. We're again joined by last week's guests, European Parliament member Christian Engstrom and International Copyright Lawyer Carlo Lavizzari.
