Episode 48: Online Dating

As 18 hour work days become more and more common, finding time to go to bars or on blind dates that were organised by your grandmother becomes less and less possible. The solution for many is online dating however this solution does come with a fair share of stereotypes and psycho's.
We speak to David Burnstein of The Dating Lab to see how online dating works as well as author Jane Coloccia to give her experiences on the subject. We also speak anonymously to two users of online dating to get their perspective and stories.
We're also joined by Anne-Sophie Leens to hear about Apartment Studios and as always, Kerry-Anne Gilowey from Cape Town Daily Photo joins us for the news.

Jane Coloccia:
Jane's first book, Confessions of an Online Dating Addict: A True Account of Dating and Relating in the Internet Age was published in April 2008. She has since appeared on CN8's "Your Morning" show and Australia's "Sunrise" morning show to promote the book and was also featured in a Reuters article which has been syndicated worldwide. Jane has also done radio shows from Ireland to Seattle offering do's and don'ts for online dating.
Jane currently lives in New Jersey with her dog, Sophie, and she is developing an online dating course for The Learning Annex.
