We also ask them what news stories shocked them the most and what technological advances tweaked their interest in 2009.
We're joined by Avusa's Elan Lohmann, Stuff Magazine's Toby Shapshak, Mobile Marketer Gaby Rosario, Digivox's Andrea Mitchell and finally comedian and marketing expert John Vlismas.

Toby Shapshak:
Toby is the editor of Stuff, the South African edition of the world’s largest-selling gadget magazine. He writes a column for The Times newspaper and is a contributing editor for Business Day’s Wanted magazine. He regularly appears on CNBC Africa and Talk Radio 702 to discuss technology trends.
Gaby Rosario:
Gaby runs The Storyboard, and offer strategic and creative consult and direction to agencies and clients direct. Her focus areas are content marketing and community moderation.
Andrea Mitchell:
Andrea has been actively involved in local and international digital marketing since 1997 and has worked closely with key global companies on their digital marketing strategies. As one of the pioneering architects of the SA digital landscape, Andrea is a hugely respected talent in the digital marketing field and is the founder of digiVOX, a specialist digital marketing agency.
John Vlismas:
Award-winning comedian, John Vlismas is one of South Africa’s most creative, prolific international comics.
